Description

A human chain handing supplies from the upper deck to storage below. Peter Churcher recalled, "On this particular morning an American supply ship had dropped off a shipment of food supplies for HMAS Kanimbla. Tons of produce are suddenly dropped on deck, quickly brought into the hangar, then via a human line going all the way down to the bottom of the ship produce is taken down to the storage. This drawing took place in the hangar showing the lines of produce in the foreground and the start of the human line disappearing round the corner out of the storage rooms".
