The Jerusalem-Jericho Road undergoing repairs just outside Jerusalem. Immediately after the advance of our troops, following upon the fall of Jerusalem on 7 December 1917, almost the entire population was employed by the British on the work of repairing the roads. The vehicle shown is a Royal Air Force tender.
