Description
Hajleh. A view of the pontoon bridge by means of which the first crossing over the Jordan River was effected. The bridge was constructed by Australian Engineers in the face of opposition by the enemy, who were strongly entrenched. Three soldiers and a local person at the right hand end of the bridge.
