General Sir Ian Hamilton takes the salute from an unidentified officer while infantrymen march past during his review of the 1st Division at Mena Camp, 10 miles from the centre of Cairo. General Hamilton was supreme commander of the Allied forces in the Dardanelles campaign. Note the bicycle on the far right.
