A group of unidentified patients, probably convalescents about to leave, in Ward A12 at the 3rd Australian Auxiliary Hospital in Kent. Some of the men are seated at a central table, perhaps to write letters. Note the extremely narrow beds, which could be folded up for ease of transport.
