Soldiers constructing dugouts near the beach north of Anzac Cove. On the right a dugout roof of corrugated iron, which would later be covered with layers of sandbags, is clearly visible. Several large tents, possibly belonging to a field hospital, can be seen in the foreground. A cluster of smaller tents is visible in the distance.
