A decorative panel of broken glass on the ground outside a tent at Sarpi Camp on the Greek island of Lemnos near the Turkish coast. The central medallion features the words 'Great Britain' at the top and 'Our allies' underneath, with 'In memory of fallen comrades' in the centre. It is flanked on the left by the names 'Australia, New Zealand, Tasmania' and on the right with 'Canada, South Africa, India'. The panel has an outer border of white stones and an inner border of food tins. (This image is also held at J6496.)
