Studio portrait of 2374 Private (Pte) James Victor Holdsworth, 5th Reinforcements, 23rd Battalion, of Geelong, Vic. Pte Holdsworth enlisted on 13 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Osterley on 29 September 1915. He was killed in action on 28 July 1916 in France.
