Description
Studio portrait of three soldiers. Standing is 3443 Private (Pte) Stanley Albert Seymour, 11th Reinforcements, 8th Battalion, of North Fitzroy, Vic, aged 22. Seated, left to right: unidentified; and 3442 Private (Pte) Archibald William Seymour, 11th Reinforcements, 8th Battalion, of North Fitzroy, Vic, aged 19. Both brothers enlisted on 6 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Nestor on 11 October 1915 and returned to Australia as members of the 6th Battalion. See also DA10947 and DA10948.
