Studio portrait of QX16277 Lance Corporal (LCpl) Albert Olley Rush, 2/11 Field Company, Royal Australian Engineers (RAE), of Yeronga, Qld. LCpl Rush enlisted on 9 July 1940 and whilst serving overseas was taken prisoner of war (POW). He died of illness on 16 July 1945 at Ambon.
