Description
This collection contains one letter from Lieutenant Frank Kitchin dated 17 April 1917 to the Mother of Sergeant Henry Jarman, MM telling her of her son's death near Hennecourt in France 16 April 1917, during the First World War. Sgt Jarman and Lt Kitchin served with 2 Pioneer Battalion. Lt Kitchin won a Croix de Guerre and Sgt Jarman won a Military Medal.
