Informal portrait of the Australian Naval and Military Expeditionary Force (AN&MEF) staff. From left to right are; Captain (Capt) John Ebenezer Donaldson, Medical Officer, Captain Edward Creer Norrie (later Colonel of the 25th Battalion) Officer Commanding (OC) of troops and Acting Military Administrator and Lieutenant Fisher, second in command. Capt Donaldson was later a member of the 19th Battalion and died of wounds on 11 August 1916.
