The first march of the Light Horse through Sydney. The photograph shows B Squadron of the 1st Light Horse Regiment in College street, almost opposite Saint Mary's Cathedral, with the Museum in the background. In the right hand bottom corner is Lieutenant (Lt) Wallace Cox, followed by Trumpeter Roy Croft and Sergeant (Sgt) C W Edwards. In front of the column is Lt B P Nettleton. Left to right front row: unidentified; Private (Pte) G Barnes; Pte R C Ross; Lance Sergeant (L/ Sgt) A Dick. In the second row, immediately behind Pte Ross is Pte H F Kolts.
