Description
The monument erected by the residents of Euroka, near Kempsey, NSW, in the grounds of the local public school for 6657 Private (Pte) William Charles Woods (Wood), 18th Battalion. Pte Woods was a former pupil of the school, and died of wounds at Passchendaele on 6 October 1917. The monument was erected and unveiled in June 1919. It is now located in the grounds of the Euroka cemetery.
