I'm Proud: My Husband Wants Me to Do My Part
Description
American Second World War poster created by artist John Newton Howitt around 1944. The poster was designed both to inspire American housewifes to sign up for work in factories, and for their husbands to encourage such work. The poster depicts a woman in factory attire seemingly being supported by her husband behind her. Both stand before the American flag (48 star variant).
