100,000 Men Are Needed At Once
Description
This early British recruiting proclamation-style poster was published by His Majesty's Stationery Office, and aims to encourage men to enlist for war. The poster contains no images, and is very simple in design. It uses only one ink colour - black, and as opposed to more artistic recruiting posters, is designed to convey a large amount of information about enlistment rules, and assistance for wives of soldiers.
