Australian blue ensign to be mounted on a wooden pole bearing an engraved silver plate 'Pte G. Nagle 9 R.A.R. R.A. Inf.'
History / Summary
Memorial flag from the Vietnam Welcome Home Parade held in Sydney in 1987. A flag with a suitably engraved plaque attached to the pole was carried in memory of all those Australian servicemen who died in the Vietnam War. This flag commemorated 39565 Private George Nagle, who served with 9RAR. He was killed in action in South Vietnam on 6 January 1969.
