A British Blackburn Blackburn Mk II fleet spotter aircraft, Serial S1049, flying over the sea on patrol. In 1925 and 1926 the Mk II was in production, a total of 29 being delivered to the FAA. The Blackburn was declared obsolete in March 1933.
