Description

A First World War propaganda poster which comments on declarations by the German Chancellor Theobald von Bethmann-Hollweg about the non aggressive ambitions of the German Empire. The image which fills the poster is a map of continental Europe, on top of which sit two octopi, one representing Prussia, the other representing Austria-Hungary. The tentacles of each octopus spread out to grab other countries which the two powers have invaded or annexed. The image has a black border and the title is along the top with text in the top right corner. Text in Italian.
