Studio portrait of 2612 Corporal (Cpl) John Herbert Farrell, DCM MM and Bar, who served with the 6th Battalion. Farrell was awarded the Military Medal in 1917, a Bar to the MM in 1918 and a Distinguished Conduct Medal in 1919. Cpl Farrell's medals are held in the collection of the Australian War Memorial.
