Collection relating to Sister Evelyn Davies
Description
Outdoors portrait of Mrs A Davies and a young child "little Alan". Mrs Davies is the mother of Sister Evelyn Davies, who enlisted in the Australian Army Nursing Service (AANS) on 5 May 1915 and returned to Australia on 20 May 1919 after serving in Egypt, India, England and France. Correspondence between these women is held in the Private Records Collection of the Memorial.
