Description

Mule lines in a gully inland from Anzac Cove, where the animals were protected from enemy shelling. On either side of the lines of animals are covered stores and piles of fodder. In the background is Hell Spit, the southern point of Anzac Cove. On the far right a pier on the beach is visible. In the distance is the headland known as Gaba Tepe.
