Four chaplains, accompanied by two Egyptian guides, mounted on donkeys and camels at the base of a pyramid at Giza. Wearing a slouch hat, second from right, is Chaplain Ernest Northcroft Merrington, of the 1st Light Horse Brigade, and seated third from right is Chaplain Alfred Charles Plane.
