The original grave of 436 Private (Pte) Albert McCann, 8th Battalion. Pte McCann enlisted in Maryborough, Vic, and was killed in action on 17 June 1915, aged 21 years. The grave to the right is that of 866 Pte Thomas Enoch Haylock, 21st Battalion, native of Bairnsdale, Vic, who was killed in action on 12 October 1915.
