Description
The original grave of Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Hubert Jennings Imrie Harris, Commanding Officer of the 5th Australian Light Horse Regiment, killed in action on 31 July 1915, aged 44 years. Harris Ridge, on the Gallipoli Peninsula, was named after Lt Col Harris during the 5th Light Horse Regiment's occupation of the area in June and July 1915. (See also P02449.009, H00193)
