Feed the guns with war bonds and help to end the war
Description
British First World War poster issued to promote the sale of War bonds to help the war effort. The image is positioned right of centre, with a blank area upper left. It is a depiction of a large unmanned howitzer gun with its barrel pointing towards the upper right corner. In front of it in the lower right stand several shells and two large red money bags. The title is positioned across the bottom, in white and red ink against black. Both the image and text are set against a grey background and framed with a geometric border of red rectangular stripes of varying width.
