Description
Studio portrait of 3227 Private (Pte) John Reuben Albert, 11th Reinforcements, 6th Battalion, of Jung Jung, Vic. Pte Albert enlisted on 28 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Nestor on 11 October 1915. He returned to Australia on 28 March 1919 and died of consumption at the Austin Hospital, Heidleberg, on 18 August 1919.
