Description
First World War poster issued by the United States Treasury Department c.1919 to promote the victory liberty loan. Text only it features a quote by President Woodrow Wilson printed upper to lower centre in green ink. A curved red border runs from the lower left corner to the lower right corner. The quote reminds citizens of the National duty to ensure that wounded and disabled soldiers and sailors are given every opportunity to return to civil life. One of a series of text based posters featuring patriotic quotes by prominent American military leaders, politicians and scientists.
