Description
View of the 1st Australian Divisional Camp taken from the summit of the Cheops Pyramid. The Nile Valley with canals shining through green irrigated fields form a striking background to the naked eye from this eminence. Mena House, which was used as a hospital is shown in the right foreground, to the left is the ruins of an ancient Egyptian city in the course of excavation. This is a digitally combined composite panorama made up of two separate images. It is only available as a digital print. The two images are also available separately at A02185 and A02186.
