Description
Studio portrait of 2629 Acting Sergeant (A/Sgt) Alexander Denney, 6th Reinforcements, 21st Battalion, of Yannathan, Vic. A/Sgt Denney enlisted on 10 June 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Moldavia on 5 October 1915. He died of meningitis at Tel-el-Kebir, Egypt, on 25 January 1916.
