Cravat : Private R Walker, 2 Battalion Royal Australian Regiment
Narrow rectangular royal blue satin cravat with an oval black felt patch. The design of the patch has been created using pieces of coloured felt and bullion thread. It features a Queen's crown surmounting a pair of crossed swords with a kangaroo in the foreground. 'DUTY FIRST ROYAL AUSTRALIAN REGIMENT' has been embroidered in a red felt scroll beneath this. '2 .R.A.R.' has also been embroidered in bullion thread along the bottom of the badge. On either side of the kangaroo and swords there is a decorative bullion thread leaf design.

Walker returned to Australia in April 1954.
