Description
Studio portrait of 1067 Private (Pte) Colin Robert Brown, D Company, 29th Battalion, of Richmond, Vic, aged 18 years. Pte Brown enlisted on 12 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Ascanius on 10 November 1915. He was killed in action on 3 November 1916 Flers, France. Pte Brown had three brothers who also served in the AIF, two were killed in action and the other returned to Australia. See also DA11628.
