Studio portrait of 2388 Sergeant (Sgt) Harold Campbell. 7th Reinforcements, 3rd Battalion, of Wellington, NSW, aged 21 years. Sgt Campbell enlisted on 9 June 1915 and embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Orsova on 14 July 1915. On 7 October 1917 he was killed at Anzac Ridge, in the Ypres Sector in Belgium.
