Studio portrait of 1920 Private (Pte) Timothy Oxley Farrell, 3rd Reinforcements, 54th Battalion, of Bourke, NSW. Pte Farrell enlisted on 22 January 1916 and embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Barambah on 23 June 1916. He died of wounds on 22 May 1918 at Villers-Bretonneux, France, whilst serving with the 55th Battalion.
