Studio portrait of 4714 Private (Pte) John Knuckley, 12th Reinforcements, 20th Battalion, of Wellington, NSW, aged 19 years. Pte Knuckley enlisted on 16 December 1915 and embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Ceramic on 13 April 1916. He was killed in action on 28 October 1917 in Belgium.
