Studio portrait of 3024 Private (Pte) Cromwell Laurence Beggs, 7th Reinforcements, 24th Battalion, of Balwyn, Vic. Pte Beggs enlisted on 9 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Commonwealth on 26 November 1915. He returned to Australia with the 1st Divisional Signal Company. See also DA11859.
