Description
Studio portrait of 2739 Driver (Dvr) William Alexander Mowatt, 6th Reinforcements, 22nd Battalion, of Maryborough, Vic. Dvr Mowatt enlisted on 19 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Ulysses on 27 October 1915. He was awarded the Military Medal (MM) on 29 August 1918 whilst serving with the 13th Field Artillery Brigade. He returned to Australia on 23 June 1919.
