Description

British Second World War recruitment poster aimed at women enlisting in the ATS. The ATS, or Auxiliary Territorial Service, was the women's branch of the British Army during the Second World War, with numbers reaching 65,000 in September 1941. Poster features a portrait of an attractive woman in the uniform of the ATS. The portrait is oval framed with white and the letters ATS appear in front of the portrait printed in red.
