Description
The wreck of the British merchant vessel Norah Moller, heavily damaged by Japanese bombers on 3 February while attempting to escape from Singapore. The cruiser HMAS Hobart and the destroyer HMS TENEDOS stood by her during the bombing and took off her crew and passengers. HOBART took off 57 persons including women and children. Of these 28 were wounded and six subsequently died. The survivors were taken to Tanjong Priok. The ship was left anchored, abandoned and on fire.
