Description
A cornice of the Temple of the Sun. This piece of stone weighs about 20 tons. These were once on pillars 70 feet high but owing to earthquakes and the Arabs cutting into the pillars to take out the copper rods, numbers of these blocks are now lying on the ground. This is a stereo image. One half of the image is held at A02883.
