Description
Studio portrait of 3305A Private (Pte) John Basil Knott, 11th Reinforcements, 12th Battalion, of Launceston, Tas. Pte Knott enlisted on 17 August 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Ascanius on 10 November 1915. He was killed in action on 3 September 1916 in Villers-Bretonneux, France.
