Description
Bofors 40 mm practice cartridge used by the Australian Navy Bofors Mk IV L/60 light anti-aircraft gun during the Second World War. The cartridge is a rimmed, bottle-necked, drawn brass type featuring a dummy brass projectile which has been crimped into neck of the cartridge case. Markings - LOT 0790; 5 - 44; 400 MM; MA; MK 2; Boat anchor insignia.
