History / Summary
Robert Charles Seymour was born in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales on 23 April 1922 and followed the family tradition working as a stockyard man. During the Second World War he served as a Trooper with 2/6 Armoured Regiment, enlisting in Sydney on 23 October 1941 with the service number NX49545. After serving in Australia and New Guinea he was discharged on 4 April 1945. He returned to his job at the stockyards in Wagga Wagga after the war and died in 1980.
