Description
Studio portrait of 3256 Private (Pte) Frederick William Anderson, 7th Reinforcements, 26th Battalion, of Lottah, Tas. A miner by trade, he enlisted on 1 August 1915 and embarked from Hobart aboard HMAT Ajana on 13 December 1915. He was killed in action on 23 July 1916 at Pozieres, France, aged 22.
