History / Summary
Albert Blundell, a Sydney clerk, enlisted as a 19 year old with 2 Australian General Hospital (2 AGH) on 5 October 1914. He embarked at Sydney on the transport ship A55 Kyarra in November 1914 as a sergeant, with the regimental number 643. Blundell served with 2 AGH throughout the Gallipoli campaign. He returned to Australia with the rank of warrant officer class 2 (WO2) on 23 October 1916.
