Nambu Type 14 Pistol Holster
Description
Nambu Type 14 semi-automatic pistol holster. The body of the holster is light brown rubberised canvas with a square pouch attached to the front for two 15 round packets of ammunition as well as loop pouch for a spare firing pin. The clam shell top flap is dark brown leather stitched around the edge and has a double F mark carved into the front. The flap is secured by a leather spring tab (broken) that clips over a steel stud on the lower part of the body. A two piece rubberised canvas shoulder strap, which is delaminating, is attached to two square rings at the back of the holster on either side of a belt loop.

This pistol and holster were captured in New Guinea by Lieutenant Colonel Rickard, 2/1 Tank Attack Regiment.
