Description
Studio portrait of 3356 Private (Pte) Walter William Stagoll, 7th Reinforcements, 26th Battalion, of Derby, Tas, aged 21 years. Pte Stagoll enlisted on 7 September 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Ajana on 13 December 1915. He later served as a lance corporal and was killed in action on 23 August 1918 in France, whilst serving with the 12th Battalion.
