Description
Model of a tank, showing interior and side workings. The tank is described as a tracked fighting vehicle and was proposed in 1912 by Australian engineer Lancelot E de Mole. It was the earliest practical design offered to the British War Office. The idea was rejected. The model is held in the Australian War Memorial's collection.
