Description
Australian Second World War issued by the Camouflage Research Section, Department of Home Security, Canberra. Designed by Frank Hinder using orange, black and white only the poster depicts orange bombs falling on a row of black and white tents and a row of army trucks. The title is integrated with the graphics and the composition is framed at the bottom with a rectangle block of orange with the poster message inscribed on it in black. Hinder made several posters for the camouflage section using this design idea (see ARTV08976). The poster warns about the danger of grouping resources too close together.
