A coupon information centre in the Melbourne department store Myer. It was characteristic of many provided by retailers after the introduction of clothes rationing. This particular store announced that it would resume its usual hours of trading on 16 June; ration books had been issued on the previous Friday and Saturday, and up till then the "quota sold" problem had compelled many retailers, to close and open at irregular times.
